Introducing Myself!

Hi there! :)

This is a little about me, Lauren. Studying at East Norfolk Sixth Form this is my third year. I wanted to do the third year purely so I could study this subject, the BTEC Film and Television because I love film and television and the media. Of course I love a lot of other things too; like chicken, mainly KFC as it is so tasty- I would like to eat a lot of their chicken, without the bones though as I don't really like bones, in fact, I hate them.

I have a pretty big goal I wish to reach in the future, that being to work for Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, you know those kinds of places. I love Disney- it's my all time favourite thing ever! Oh and the Lion King, well that is just the best set of movies ever made (and Harry Potter- but who doesn't love them?) I mean, Simba is just brilliant and I love singing along but I can't sing so it's probably not the best to be around when the films are on!



Anyway, I really have a fascination for animation, I find it so interesting and of course being into disney and pixar films I just love watching how it is all put together. I went to the cinema the other week, maybe a bit longer- I don't quite remeber; but the pixar short The Blue Umbrella was played before the actual film started and I loved it so much, it is so cute and everything. This makes me want to do animation so much more and just even writing this and talking about it really makes me motivated to get myself to Disney or Pixar in the future.

I have a lot of interests in doing this course and being a BTEC I expected to be doing a lot of hands on things and really being brilliant, and I find this to be a great kind of experience before doing anything else, I am really looking forward to the entire course because just starting the induction has already been pretty fantabulous so I just can't wait to do more. I also studied Film Studies and I must admit when I first started I didn't think that I would like it but I really enjoyed it and all the aspects and learning all the technical terms- oh I feel like such a nerd being so interested in film and all that. I never thought I would be- BUT IT LOOKS LIKE I AM.

I feel I have rambled on enough now actually but there is a little bit, well a big chunk of what I want to do with my life and why I have taken this course, so there it all is, thanks :)
